I hate to say “I told you so…” Well, not really. I love to say “I told you so,” unless it’s directed at someone close to me.
It’s taken almost four years, but my first impression of Michelle Rhee as a glib self-promoter has been vindicated. An exposé by none other than USA Today has called into question her supposed accomplishments as Chancellor of the D.C. Public Schools, and the journalist Gene Lyons has called her an “education reform huckster.”
I hereby offer my services as a consultant on self-promoting phonies, especially to school boards, which seem to be highly susceptible to invasion by this noxious species.
